Terms of Use
Last updated: January 2026. These terms govern your use of the Eigenwallet exchange engine, including Bitcoin to Monero conversions and all other supported asset swaps. Please read them carefully before initiating any transaction.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing Eigenwallet or initiating a transaction through our exchange interface, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Use together with our Privacy Policy and Anti-Financial Crime Policy. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must stop using the platform immediately.
2. What the Service Is
Eigenwallet is a non-custodial, automated cryptocurrency exchange. It facilitates direct wallet-to-wallet asset conversions — including Bitcoin to Monero exchanges and swaps of USDT, ETH, USDC and 55+ other listed assets — without user accounts, identity collection, or manual verification holds. We function as a technological routing intermediary, not as a bank, wallet provider, or financial institution.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Eigenwallet. By interacting with the exchange widget, you confirm this. Because we do not apply geographic IP blocks, it is your sole responsibility to verify that using a no-registration cryptocurrency exchange is permitted under the laws and regulations of your jurisdiction.
4. No Financial Advice
Nothing on Eigenwallet constitutes financial, legal, or tax advice. Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile. Asset prices — including the BTC/XMR exchange rate — can move significantly within the timeframe of a single transaction. You bear full responsibility for your financial decisions, including exposure to market fluctuations, network slippage, and blockchain-level failures.
5. User Responsibilities
- Accurate destination address: Blockchain transactions are irreversible. If you enter an incorrect Monero or other receiving address, your funds are permanently lost. We have no technical ability to reverse a confirmed blockchain transaction.
- Legitimate source of funds: You warrant that the assets you are exchanging — including any Bitcoin submitted for conversion to Monero — are legally obtained and are not proceeds of any criminal activity.
- Tax obligations: Exchanging Bitcoin for Monero or any other crypto swap without KYC does not exempt you from reporting requirements or capital gains taxes in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for your tax compliance.
- Transaction limits: You must send amounts within the minimum ($100 USD equivalent) and maximum ($282,100 USD equivalent) limits displayed at order creation. Amounts below the minimum may not trigger the automated swap.
- Correct network: Ensure you send the correct asset on the correct blockchain network. Sending native BTC to a BEP20 Bitcoin address, for example, requires manual intervention and cannot be guaranteed to recover.
6. Blockchain Finality
Once a transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, it is final. Eigenwallet accepts no liability for funds lost due to user-entered address errors, sending assets on the wrong network layer, or sending the wrong asset to a deposit address. Technical support for failed swaps — including BTC to XMR orders — is provided on a best-effort basis with no guarantee of recovery.
7. Rates, Fees, and the 30-Minute Lock
The exchange rate displayed at order creation — including the BTC/XMR rate — is locked for 30 minutes to protect you from short-term volatility. If your deposit confirms within this window, you receive the locked rate. If the deposit confirms after the window expires, the swap executes at the market rate current at the time of confirmation. Minor differences in net received amount may occur due to outgoing network fees. Our service margin is embedded in the displayed exchange rate.
8. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Eigenwallet for any of the following:
- Laundering assets connected to criminal enterprises or illegal activity.
- Financing terrorism, political violence, or any sanctioned group or individual.
- Deliberately circumventing international economic sanctions.
- Processing ransomware proceeds, theft proceeds, or funds from fraud.
- Attacking the platform through DDoS, malicious bots, unauthorized API scraping, or any other means intended to degrade service performance.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eigenwallet and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. This includes losses from blockchain network failures, user address errors, market rate changes, platform downtime, or external API failures. Our maximum aggregate liability for any verified claim is limited to the routing fees collected from your transactions in the 30 days preceding the dispute.
10. Service Availability
We aim to maintain 24/7 availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate the swap engine at any time for security reasons, maintenance, or extreme market conditions.
11. Intellectual Property
The code, design, branding, and content of Eigenwallet are the exclusive property of the platform. You may not clone, scrape, or redistribute any part of our interface or routing methodology without explicit written authorization.
12. Changes to Terms
These Terms of Use may be updated at any time. Changes take effect upon publication. Continued use of the exchange after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you disagree with an update, you must stop using the service.
